1.Do you agree with the web site's description? What do you do that can be called "wrapping"? Give examples and reasons for your actions.
I almost agree with them.
When I got invited and don't want to go, I can't say "I don't want to go". So I think about reasons for saying no. For example, I have an another appointment or something like that. I don't know why it's hard to say no, but we have an idea "lie is expedient" in Japan.
2. a. Where do you go when you die?
I think heven or be born again.
b. Explain why do Japanese have death memorial services 1 month, 1 year, 3 years, 7 years, etc. after a person's death?
to keep our mind the person was here.

Welcome to Class! Thanks for joining us again. Your answers were intersting. In the USA, any kind of lie is bad. We are told the moment we are born that the truth is always best.
thank you for your comment, sensei!!
Americans thought is different with Japanese one.
I'm Japanese, but I like the idea what the truth is always best:).
Japanese idea is sometimes old I think.
I also can't say "I don't want to go" when I got a invitation from my friends. That comes from "Honne and Tatemae" stuff I'd say, so it's one of the wrapping culture. It was kind of interesting to rediscover the fact that we even wrap our feelings!
It is true that in the USA we are taught from a young age to never tell a lie but I think that this is not always the case for most Americans.
I think we go to heaven, too!
I didn't think be born again. I hope it!
It's an interest idea that we are born again after we die! I agree with you.
